For the raising of the sedimentation basin within the sewage treatment plant in Eindhoven, the precast elements are connected to each other in a fast and efficient way with the Peikko SUMO® wall shoe connection.
This dry connection consists of a SUMO® Wall shoe cast in one element and an HPM® anchor bolt cast in the other element. Together this forms the wall shoe joint that absorbs tensile loads. To provide protection against corrosion, the connections are galvanized in this project.
