DELTABEAM® 100TH SLIM FLOOR PROJECT IN NORTH AMERICA
The Residences at 5th and 5th sits in the heart of Olde Naples in a historic and charming seaside community.
Faced with head room issues, Select Structural, the engineering firm working on the project and Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart and Associates, Inc. Architects chose DELTABEAM® as a solution since it is the only system which can achieve the 35-foot span needed while keeping the beam depth at 10 inches. Achieving the spans was made possible by using a continuous beam system over the concrete columns with Beam to Beam Connections. DELTABEAM® supported Comslab's long span metal deck which enabled an easy-to-assemble slim floor.
This impressive 83, 560 square foot project is a 3-story multifamily building with below grade parking for 42 cars. A fitness center, retail space and lobby are found on the first floor while 11 residential condominium residences with ten-foot ceilings make up the second and third floors. The rooftop features a pool, spa, fire pit and outdoor kitchen. Completion is scheduled early May 2018.
