The STUVA office building in Cologne was expanded in 2018. As a non-profit and internationally active research company, the STUVA deals with basic and object studies in inner-city traffic and underground construction.
In order to achieve the lowest possible construction heights in the extension of the building, DELTABEAM® was implemented. With a grid of 10.5 m x 6.2 m, the DELTABEAM® spanning over 10.5 m only protrude approx. 14 cm below the ceiling. The DELTABEAM® were implemented in combination with a conventional reinforced concrete ceiling.
