Tegelstaden Bygg AB has built a new school in Katrineholm on behalf of Katrineholm municipality. The new school is named Stensäterskolan. The school was completed in the summer of 2022 and accommodates over 600 elementary and middle school students.
For this project, Peikko has supplied both DELTABEAM®, composite columns, and steel columns. We have delivered a complete solution of DELTABEAM® Frame. The solution included composite beams and columns that provide the opportunity for large open spaces, which is optimal in a school environment.
In the construction, we have also been able to adapt certain parts to provide as optimized a solution as possible, for example by extending the edge beam for stacking of bricks.
The project has a total area of 9,700 square meters. Peikko's deliveries consisted of, among other things, 60 steel columns, close to 190 composite columns, and just over 1000 meters of DELTABEAM®.
