Orifarm, a Danish medical company, are expanding their premises with an office and canteen building.
DELTABEAM® Frame, which consist of DELTABEAM® Composite Beams and composite columns, was chosen for this project because of the possibility to make a slender design of both columns and beams. Furthermore, the installation speed and the advantage of having just one frame supplier played a big role. The latter was a big selling point for the main designer. The project consists of a 4-story office building and a 1-story canteen building.
Peikkos scope is design and delivery of DELTABEAM® Frame. There are in total 164 DELTABEAM® Composite Beams, 36 2-story square columns with dimensions 300x300 and 200x200, 7 2-storey circular columns with diameter 460mm and 21 single story circular columns with diameter 406mm. All façade beams are D-beams with special form work in the same height as the top concrete. The columns are connected to the foundation with HPM® Rebar Anchor bolts. The stability of the building is taken care of by precast concrete walls.
