An eight storey, 23,000 sq ft. m business center is located in the city center.
Technical building solutions ensure low CO2 emissions and this A+ energy class office building was built based on BREEAM New Construction standards. The building excels to receive a BREEAM Excellent rating.
For this project, Peikko supplied WELDA® Anchor Plates, PETRA® Slab Hangers, PCs® Corbels, PC®, BECO® Beam Shoes, and DELTABEAM® Composite Beams. The majority of construction products supplied was DELTABEAM® Composite Beams.
In the central part of the building, engineers used 8 meters slim floor structures in their design with 12 meters slabs. This solution created a sense of space and lightness. The project engineer wanted to achieve a greater floor area for a given building footprint. We offered an un-standard solution and delivered 0.6 meter Composite Beams.
In total 2 kilometers of DELTABEAM® slim floor structures where delivered and construction design and calculations were produced by Peikko engineers.
