Nye is a new district that is beautifully located with views of Aarhus, Aarhus bay and Egå lake. The area is created with a starting point that is green and sustainable – which will also be the new identity of the area.
Nye will be sustainable in an environmental, economic, and social sense. It must challenge the existing standards for sustainable construction and the existing technology in the field. It should form a good framework for the people who will live or work in Nye.
The day care center Løvstikken, which was designed by Pluskontoret Arkitekter and built by Høgh & Sønberg, was also built according to these principles and therefore DELTABEAM® Green were chosen for the project.
DELTABEAM® Green is made from more than 90% recycled material, renewable energy has been used in production, transport is refueled with biodiesel or environmentally compensated fuel.
