A kit of parts approach was taken and 90nr DELTABEAM®s were incorporated into the design along with Peikko Column Shoes & Anchor bolts. DELTABEAM® Composite Beams providing a slim floor and flat soffit also interfaced with precast floor units which incorporated combined heating & cooling system, creating a Thermally Active Building System (TABS). The frame was delivered the 11-week contractual period.
The new CEF headquarters also secured the 2019 RIBA Northeast Building of the Year Award.
