The parking house in Banská Bystrica was built on the existing site of the parking lot in the city center.
Together, it will provide up to 210 parking spaces, including places reserved for charging electric cars.
Besides parking, this object offers up to 1,800 m² of commercial and office space. The building consists of 5 above-ground floors with the overall floor plan dimensions of the supporting structure 57.4 m x 52.8 m.
The support structure is divided into two objects. On the 1st to 2nd floors, in the part defined by the axes A-D and 1-8, there is a space designated for parking spaces, the commercial and office spaces are located in the arched part on the northwest side of the building. From the 3rd floor, parking spaces are located on the entire area of the floor plan.
It was possible to design the slab structures as slim floor slabs. DELTABEAM® with a height of 265 mm were hidden along their entire height in the slab structure formed by hollow-core panels with the same height. The result was a thin, slim structure, which has many advantages, such as easy installation under the slab, simple formwork in part of the monolithic slab, or higher headroom of individual floors. Total 244 beams were delivered to the building, total length 1893 m, beam weight 340 tons.
